who made this
about
hi — i'm karthik. i built pantry mojo because i kept asking myself the same question in the grocery aisle: didn't this used to be cheaper? i never remembered, and spreadsheets never stuck.
so i made a memory that does the remembering for me. snap a receipt, and mojo keeps the store, the items, and the prices — then quietly tells you when something moves. “olive oil went up. $8.99 → $11.49 at costco.” observations, never judgment. it's a memory, not a referee.
the part i'm most excited about: as more people add receipts, mojo learns what's typical and which store is actually cheapest for your basket — shared back to everyone as anonymized signals. your receipts stay yours; the wisdom is shared. (how that stays private is spelled out on the privacy page.)
it's early. pantry mojo is a personal project, in beta, built by one person and getting a little better every week. if something's confusing or broken, that's gold — tell me at hello@pantrymojo.com.
